Goodyear, AZ is positioned to welcome a new higher education institution

HIGHER EDUCATION

Goodyear is proactively recruiting private institutions of higher education that may result in a future Goodyear campus.  We look forward to welcoming new institutions of higher education to our city. Franklin Pierce University

Goodyear welcomed its first excellent private institution of post-secondary education to the community in 2008, Franklin Pierce University from New Hampshire. In June 2009, Franklin Pierce began their Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program in Goodyear. Franklin Pierce's Goodyear center also offers a series of online undergraduate and graduate programs.

The presence of this private university represents the culmination of a concerted effort by the Goodyear City Council and staff to bring smaller, private schools of higher education to Goodyear to further enhance our quality of life.

Columbia College
A new post-secondary institution has landed in the city of Goodyear with plans of enrolling West Valley students into its online program. Columbia College is a not-for-profit college founded in 1851, and they truly care about affordability.

The city’s Economic Development Department worked with the college’s administration for over 24 months, during which time Columbia College acquired approval from the state of Arizona and the Higher Learning Commission to locally deliver online and in-seat programs.

Missouri-based Columbia College opened an academic advising office in the Goodyear Financial Center located at 250 N. Litchfield Rd, Suite 202, with plans to expand its offerings in the coming months.
