Prime Solutions Group, Inc. (PSG) was honored as 2019 Innovator of the Year small business category at the Governor’s Celebration of Innovation

The October 24th event marks the 16th year of this prestigious, black-tie event that attracted more than 850 attendees for a night of networking, dining and entertainment at the Phoenix Convention Center. The Arizona Technology Council, in partnership with the Arizona Commerce Authority, honors technology leaders and innovators from across the state with the annual event. Governor Ducey’s message outlined the breadth and scale of the rapidly growing technology and manufacturing sector in Arizona has placed the state in the national spotlight. Companies and talented employees are moving to Arizona in record numbers which is creating the environment for our young people to remain here in Arizona.

The Award recognized PSG’s innovative approaches to solving the most complex digital challenges in the defense industry. In addition to innovating with current and on-going research and development contracts, the company has been awarded several Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) contracts and grants with the federal Government.

“PSG offers innovative solutions that improve performance on current systems by adopting latest Information Technologies such as cloud computing and Big Data software,” said Joe Marvin, President of Prime Solutions Group, Inc. “Our ability to implement and integrate these technologies using agile development methods on accelerated timelines is very much in demand by our customers” remarked Marvin.

The expertise at PSG, located at the Flite Goodyear campus near the Phoenix-Goodyear airport, is composed of nationally recognized signal processing experts, software developers and system architects. “With our expertise, we are capable of conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping innovations that solve future challenges across multiple domains,” Marvin explained. PSG has leveraged its deep expertise in digital systems into Artificial Intelligence and data science technologies which represents the potential for transformational shifts in the ways humans interact in the new Internet of Things era.

The Veteran Owned Small Business has been in operations since 2007 and operating at Flite Goodyear since 2010. PSG conducts active research with Arizona State University and partners with large industry leaders such as Lockheed Martin and IBM to pursue innovative technology roadmaps. Marvin explained, “Outreach is a cornerstone of all we do. This includes customers, academia, and professional/technical associations. It is impossible to innovate in isolation.”

This award puts PSG and our people “on the map” according to Marvin. In a state with one of the fastest technology innovation ecosystems in the nation, it is an honor to be selected as a leader in the state of Arizona. “This award belongs to our people who are proud to continue innovating right here in Goodyear.”
